Delivering great customer service is different than Talking about customer service. Why do people leave a trusted source?
People leave a source because of perceived value. I remember buying products from a supplier that would usually be covered by insurance, well my insurance didn't cover them so I would pay cash.
Paying cash is no longer the preferred method for many businesses, especially those who are fully dependent on reimbursement. Yes, a business model built on it.
They told me that I needed to pay the full price as it was listed on their invoicing. What? Yes, my paying cash price was making it difficult for their accounting system. Worse, they thought it was just doing what the system dictated.
Now, we have the business model dependent on internal methods? Wonder why we are in such medical turmoil? Does your online marketing work the same way, with you coming first?
I told them I would take my business elsewhere, they were asking questions like 'why?'.
Taking your business elsewhere is mind boggling to those minds that run off of their own set of rules. Maintaining the status quo is good for accountants, not good for business.
Online marketing or not, Look into your practices with current customers, what checks & balances do you have to keep them paying?
