To end a sentence with a preposition; English conditioning or just something that we should rather forget as it is not useful anymore.  Either is website design without performance.  ROI matters, so should the conversations you are trying to create through online marketing.

 Website Design Minneapolis

A preposition is a perfect word to end a sentence with.  It's about time the powers have a little bit less power.  I don't think they ever did, except in the controlled classroom.  Here's where it began;

John Dryden, 15th century...objected to it because the structure in Latin dictates.   English should be more like Latin...right.  Who doesn't remember English teachers pounding this into our psyche.  Did it stick?  Not really, most people just go with what works for them in everyday life anyway.  Why can't online marketers understand this pretty simple perspective?

Conditioning …. The days of old English.  Online Marketing is much like how we deal with this issue.  Whomever builds a website should be cognizant of the actual target market.  It should be tested, it should be crafted to actually meet your intended audience, not adhered to by some 'list' of must haves.  Unfortunately this drives up the cost of having a website as it takes volume of visitors to reach business objectives

There is a huge disconnect with website designers and the intended audience of a companies target market.

Here is a hint; 'website designers have the business owner in mind when thinking of target market, not the actual target market for which businesses need to connect with.

'Give them what they asked for' or 'Give them what they want.'

Again, the normal may just not be what they want.  Website designers look at you the business owner to satisfy, while YOU, the business owner are looking to satisfy your target market.  In order to test this.

  • Make sure to ask for proof in analytics after the website is launched
  • Measure strongly against business objectives designed into the website build
  • Hold website designer accountable for their website creativity and knowledge, Goal:  Reach your business objectives through testing, (tracking, measuring, improving)

When it feels natural, test it and see where it goes for you.  Hmmm,

'This is just the sort of nonsense up with which I will not put.'  Winston Churchill 'unconfirmed legend for which he did' LOL.

Answers lie in two components:  Purpose and Intent.  In conversation (in person and online), what is it that you have to offer in terms of value 'to me' and what do you want me to do.

Website Performance should be part of the discussion for online marketing, just as communication face to face.  Give them what they want, and ye shall be rewarded.

Tru-Market is all about giving your online visitors the information to be educated, nurtured, and motivated to become customers, it's GPS For Business
