This week, NBC took out the gloves and gave it to one of their anchors. I am always amazed at the audacity of top level executives who feel the need to be heard to make their stand as to what they view as 'right'.

Online Marketing Rant | No wonder the networks are continually losing market share, the world really has so much going on that the tv as we know it is becoming blasé. Who cares?
This is a non-issue for those of us who have so much more (people / things of value) to pay attention to.
In today's online marketing, we look at what is working and what is not. The stuff that isn't working is changed, improved, dropped, etc….
We don't tie a name to the deliverables, we do what needs to be done because we are paying attention to the bottom line. Chasing the business objectives with relentless pursuit.
Very little ego, not much talk about it, just do it. Build it, test it, improve it, analyze the results….wash, rinse, repeat, improve ROI for our clients.
Ann Curry will do just fine, she will get a big check and take care of herself. And the idiot who spewed off at the mouth because he wanted to be heard will go silent until the next one screws up.
Real people have real lives to do what matter most for their well-being. We believe in ourselves, move forward making changes along the way to improve our process.
The loud mouths that want that blip of acknowledgement will continue on (they can't help themselves, addiction) and our time will be spent leading productive lives.
