Online Marketing doesn't have to be simple or complex.  It does have to be however current.Minneapolis Online Marketing

 

Face it, your product / service is your message.  If you feel that the value you bring to your customers is greater than your competition, let it show on your web pages (respectfully as if you were telling a story, not bragging).

 

Four ways you can improve your online marketing position:

 

  • People like to read about, listen to stories, and share with others.  It is human nature to want to talk about what is important to individuals.  Facebook is full of useless information that only pertains to a few people, yet the number of businesses that have been able to gain respect, trust and paying customers continues to increase.  All of this is measurable and scalable.  Are you tracking, measuring, improving?

 

  • It is important to reach out more, accomplish more, just plain do more.  Working smarter and faster involves better tools and people.  Products & services have to perform by today's standards, not last years or they will be replaced.  Segments are being developed for smaller audiences because of demand, not supply.  Are you developing these areas or are you using a one size fits all approach?

 

  • Data has to be 'real time'.  This is critical to growing a business.  Staying close to how your content is being utilized (or not utilized) shapes the business plan every day, week, every month.  I find it amazing that studies while they show us trends, they are outdated by the time they are published.  Who's looking at your visits, conversions, data today?

 

  • Automated and real time technology is today's driver of success to connect with our intended audience.  I am always amazed at watching people wait until everyone else has used it before some businesses do.  By then you are just as common as a cold, nothing but ordinary.

Look at the industries that have just watched and done nothing.  Big box stores for TV's, the music industry, auto makers, cell phones, they all watched while little companies changed the world and bam, their market share was drained away while accountants saved them into bankruptcy (not all of them, but you get the idea).

 

It isn't about doing business as usual, it's about solid ROI that is current / trending you into the future.

Yes I agree that you have to stay on top of your field to know what is going on and how to best serve your customers with the latest and greatest technology to give the customer the best results. Change doesn't always come easy or without a cost, but it is necessary.
